If I had one wish I would blow it away.
Catch a wish.
Wish for more.
And more and more what more can your mind create.

"(I was naive)" Written by Nami Sanjo
(I was naive)
What do I say, what can I say.
Every syllable hurts.
Creates pain.
Creates a lump to where I cannot speak.
Healing from the past but terrified it will repeat in the future.
The shame of how I was and the things that I've done.
I hope for things new but still watch them breaking my hands.
I thought I had created a new glue for the pieces left behind.
Yet it would seem that once again I will be a victim of time.
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, none that would care even if I cry.
The sorrow fills and spills over.
The containment of a flood of emotions is breaking.
The question still remains, where do I go from here.
It echoes in my heart, Like the reverb of an empty drum. My tongue betrays me so I no longer speak And in that I can only weep.

I See Your Face
When I look at porn, I see your face
all undressed in satin and lace
heaving to and fro apace
and then I feel like I have put you in place.

"Mothers Day" Written by Joseph Emiliani
Mothers Day
The Worlds First Doctor Was A Mother. Drying Eyes And Consoling While Holding Her Patient And Diagnosing With An All Knowing Attention And Prescribing Affection In Small Doses Of Kisses And Hugs. There Was No Bump Or Scrape That Could Escape The Medicinal Magic Of Her Maternal Love. Now As We Venture Beyond The Swings And Monkey Bars, The Cuts That Would Once Bleed Have Scarred And The Tears Of Adolescence Have Lessened With Each New Lesson Life Has Taught. With Every Illness We Had Caught, Her Eyes Would Swell With Kind Concern As If She Were Wishing For The Return Of My Perfect Health. Well Except For That One Time We Caught Mono And We All Know The First Words Out Of Her Mouth Were “Who Have You Been Kissing!?!” Fractures Evolved From Hairline To Flat Line As Broken Hearts Shattered Into Shards Of Regret And Doubt And Without Hesitation She Began The Application Of Innately Benevolent Bandages And Splints And Even Though Our Hearts Were Cracked And Split, It Wasn’t Long Before Each Piece Was Placed Right Back Where It Belonged Because No Matter What Problems Another’s Love Could Cause There’s No Problem A Mothers Love Couldn’t Solve. She Taught Us That Failure Is Inconsequential Then Lead Us To A Mirror And Stood Us Face To Face With Potential. Reminding Us That Even Though Our Dreams Are Like A Fruit At Hands Grasp Waiting To Be Picked And Peeled To Still Reel For The Constellations. She Nurtured Our Imaginations And Taught Us That Life Is More Than Living. Wanting, Yearning, Wishing, Are All A Part Of Being And Seeing Isn’t Believing But Rather Hoping Is Knowing. So We Leap Faithfully Into Her Arms Because We Know She Will Always Catch Us. Every Encouraging Thing She May Say Could Be Considered Cliché If Not For The Pride She Displayed At The Very Mention Of Our Success. So Today We Pay Tribute To You. The Smile Who Lit And Shined Through Our Darkest Times And Help To Guide Us Through It. The Voice That Still Whispers, “You Can Do It”. The Curator Who Collected And Stored Every Poorly Drawn Picture We Posted On The Refrigerator Door. The Author Who Graced The Face Of Our Very First Page With “Once Upon A Time”. The Artist Who’s Ideals And Views Painted A Portrait In Vivid Hues Of The World And All That’s Best In It. So Let Our Words Stand As Testament. Before The Day Moves On Allow Me To Say… “I Love You Mom.”

"Grammatic Gratification" Written by Joseph Emiliani
Grammatic Gratification
My Fingers Touching Her Body; Tracing Her Every Curve
Like Reading Braille, Slowly Caressing Her Every Word
Our Pleasure Personified In Passionate Poetry Punctuated With Pants And Purrs
---------------------------------------------------------
She Admires My "Dic...tion" As She Begins To Touch On
Our Sultry Sentences Conjugate And Run On
I Indulge In Her Eloquence, My Lips Play On Her Words; She Begs Me To "Pun" On
---------------------------------------------------------
Her Linguistics Linger Lightly Upon My Lips And Index
Steadily Studying Her Stanzas As I Pry Between Its Texts
Innuendo Initiates Idioms Like "Oh God Don't Stop!" Mmm... The Dialect Of Sex
---------------------------------------------------------
Perfect Pronunciation As I Penetrate Page After Page
Spine Arched And Covers Creased As She Screams My Name
Calling And Crying, Desperately Fighting And Tying To Hold The End At Bay
---------------------------------------------------------
Faster And Faster As I Thumb Through Chapters
We Gasp And Clamor, As I Grab And Grasp Her
The Sweetness Of Climax Told By The Touch Of Her Gratifying Grammar

"I will come again" Written by Flor De Maria
Remember me, remember me
For I will come again
Like the sun makes love
to the brisk of morn
until the day descends
For I will come again
Like the sun makes love
to the brisk of morn
until the day descends
and Like the stars, O' how they shine
For the night they brightly burn
dancing under the moonlit sky
until the sun again returns

"Rain On Her" Written by Joseph Emiliani
Rain On Her
For Her All The World Is But A Stage
As The Neon Lights Glow And Fade
Upon A Brass Pole She Slides And Sways
With Bated Breath She Sets Souls Ablaze
---------------------------------------------------------
Rhythmic Seduction; Wide Eyes Gaze On
Melodious Bliss; Deep Pockets Pay On
A Torrential Downpour; Dollars Rain On
If Music Truly Be The Food Of Love; Play On
---------------------------------------------------------
Every Man’s Dream; Sex Appeal Personified
Fantasies Fulfilled As Singles Fall And Fly
If Only She Would Stay And Dance All The Night
Her Body Listens As My Heart Calls And Cries
---------------------------------------------------------
The Room's Attention She Grabs And Borrows
Yet Once The Song Ends And The Bars Close
All Realize; Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow
So I Shall Say Good Night; Good Night Till It Be Morrow

"Constellation" Written by Joseph Emiliani
Constellation
As The Daylight Fades And Gives Way To Twilights Accommodations
She Lay Upon My Bedspread And My Head Sped To Unbridled Sensation
Her Heavenly Body Cast Across Silk Sheets She Fills Me With Fascination
My Newly Adorned Decor That Lay Before My Headboard Shined Bright Like A Constellation
As Her Eyes Grasp And Hold Me She Slowly Reaches For My Orion's Belt
Then I Knew That Through My Fawning She Heard My Body Calling, Crying For Help
And Even Though I May Lose Control, Saying No Would Only Be Denying Myself
So I Let Her Untether A Pleasure That We Cherish And Treasure Together The Deeper We Delve
Touching And Tasting Embracing Everything That This Night Has To Offer
She Begs And Pleads For Things From Moist Dreams Making The Scene Hotter
Sampling Her Fantasies She Demands Of Me Faster And Harder Then Slower And Softer
A Star, I Fall And Shift, Lost Adrift In Her Milkyway I'm Thrilled To Play In Her Little Dipper's Water
I Kiss Her And Lift Her To Heights That Might Graze Upon The Dawn Of Elation
Satisfaction Expressed Til All That's Left Are Gasps For Breath And Bodies Wet With Condensation
While Moans And Purrs Reoccur, She Tightens Her Grip, Biting Her Lips; Climatic Connotation
So For A Single Night We Become Entwined, Two Jewels In The Sky, Personified Like Constellations

"Promise of Perfect Sunlight" Written by Michael Lewis
Promise of Perfect Sunlight
The very moment when our worlds met
Our longing for simpler days found rest.
We were two lost travelers knowing the way home
Without saying a word.
The thrum of the bodhran,
Before, almost silent and forgotten,
Pulsed louder, and our smiles danced for each other.
Thunder leapt from my chest into yours.
With blinding lightning from your hazel eyes,
The fire in your heart consumed us both
And I was happy to die with you in my arms those nights.
My heart cried in the soothing rain of your beautiful songs,
Calling my very soul to yours.
We smiled in the cool breeze of our shared laughter
While tight vines reached out from your past
And wound into the memories of my own scars.
Howling like youth in the music of our younger days
We flew through fields of wine, shedding inhibitions.
Painted alone in crowds of bystanders while
Losing ourselves like curious animals.
In silent pillow gazes we had finally come home,
Wondering if our reflect in each other was real.
In each other’s eyes we walked fresh thin paths
And made love in sacred gardens.
Knowing that if it wasn't for our good sense we would end up in Love
Reserving only the feelings that we knew were irreversible,
Holding back was our only regret.
Half of my body, my life, and all of my love left with you.
The pain of our last moments together took my breath.
We left each other with only a promise to hold at night
Until we can be together again.
It won't be long,
It had already been forever.
Then once again these ghosts that push out of my chest
Will find rest and calm,
And we will sleep again,
As one,
In perfect sunlight.

"5 haiku" Written by Michael F. Lewis
5 haiku
miles away from love
an old tree opened its arms
embracing my pain
still tasting kisses
the rushing waters within
guide me to my sleep
in my arms again
comfortable and drifting peace
with embers burning
words spoken too soon
two careless hearts forsake all
beneath gazing stars
night brushes cool skin
releasing inhibitions
lips in search of heat

"Untitled 4" Written by Samuel Sanusi
Come!
Without kissing our doors
From the helmet
Above in the sky
Very greedy
That wicked waves
And roaring light
Forsake it's visit
Awile...! It pause
Like a preacher seeking for
Breath
Oh...!
It's burn again
Of infamous womb
Sleeping our streets
Snoring at our door
And our datas dreamed
Without content
In robe with our balls
Foundation caps:now
A national flag in the air
Our backbone divorced it's body
After fornicating with the lake
That made love to her from the anus
After the wrench of our soles
Tillapia romance our necks.

Some of the reasons why you need to embrace poetry are is importances in the society. Every genres of literature has the importance but, poetry still stand out to play some roles that the other genres may not even be able to play.
These reasons are ...
A: It is a solidarity instrument
B: It define the contents of the mind with the use of emotional words
C: It's a medium of entertainment especially when it is rhyming poetry
D: It helps in the spread of the gosple truths to whom it may concern
E: And it makes us proud of our identity particularly when we are being appreciated of our attributes thereby building in us a strong confident of the mind

Don't cry, don't cry
Little child
Don't cry
For food will soon be ready
And when it comes
Your lung shall
Sing song of praises
And your stomach
Will dance the happiness beat
Luke up in the sky
Little child
And be a frend of thy tears
Have it in mind
That mummy is in the Kitchen
Unhappy for thy hungry
For this cause
Be glad
That thy mummy love thee
Little child
Never proposed to hope
Look on your table
And sea your lovely dish
With waving aroma
Waving at you to come
Ha! Ha!! Ha!!!
I sea your white musk
Rejoicing beneath thy lips
Little child
Do you now know
Thy mummy love you?
Yessss!!!
She really cares
Mum!
I am proud of you

I can knot sing a song
And dance I can knot dance
But I can twist my tongue
With these my nature chance
To tell the world my name
And wear my neck coat fame

What I can't is what I can't
I'll love and hold what I am
And never seduce what I can't
By fair tong; many a-tailor are loved
For the patterns they can knot sew
After by steel; clients clothes is puffed
And they goes low like a cold stew

"When words were superfluous.." Written by Flor De Maria
When words were superfluous..
It was that kind of moment when words were superfluous
Unwinding at a long day's end, quietly reading
Not once distracted by mass noises of restless children
You were at one with your disposition, completely transcendent
I couldn't help myself, but watch you...
And Like sudden ripples from a winter breeze
I quickly grasped a man's simplicity
Yes, words were just superfluous
You simply moved me..

Just sorry that I dared

Now all that He had is under Strict Preserve
For SomeOne who Might have a Clue
In what to Do

"When I go back (still editing)" Written by Flor De Maria
When I go back (still editing)
It's been a while, hasn't it
Like dusty books on high shelves
Long forgotten, becoming discouraged
Asleep, Patiently awaiting my return
I haven't the strength, not yet at least..
On days of solitude, perhaps
Like ghost towns, a whisper would linger
along the emptiness of what use to be
O' what it is every time I remember..
This day is but new in spring
Birds sing like a church bound choir
and the breeze is the heavens kiss
promises of it's place in existence..
I guess it has been a while, hasn't it
Reminiscing, opening doors so hard to close
Like raging rivers, crashing waves
flood like memories, how they exhaust me..
To go back, if I go back, when I go back
could it awaken a restless beast
A hunger of unknown depths
wildly embracing a tasteful past
but promises of bitter sweet goodbyes..
Although temptation fiercely burns
like fire of forbidden passion,
no stone, have I left unturned
There are no regrets to follow, to stir
It's been a while, it's true
So to reminisce wouldn't be so bad
Forgetting not of who I was or use to be
But gallantly reminding myself
of where I am and all I've become
O' to the journey..

Like dusty books on high shelves
Long forgotten, becoming discouraged
Asleep, Patiently awaiting my return
I haven't the strength, not yet at least..
On days of solitude, perhaps
Like ghost towns, a whisper would linger
along the emptiness of what use to be
O' what it is every time I remember..
This day is but new in spring
Birds sing like a church bound choir
and the breeze is the heavens kiss
promises of it's place in existence..

"Music Helps The Memories" Written by Nina Jones
Music Helps The Memories
By: Nina Jones
Music keeps you alive in my heart
Swaying to the lyrics
Makes memories re-start
Getting lost in the song almost fills my sadness
Since you've gone to heaven
My connection's become madness
The memories we made are continuous in my mind
Always hitting play
Never letting go of rewind
Music Helps The Memories

"Epiphany" Written by Ray Kinserlow
Epiphany
Draw back the curtain and see humanities' flow of energy,
Draw back the curtain and see Gods' all encompassing divinity.
Draw back the curtain and feel the axons rearrange.
Draw back the curtain and see the face of God change.

"Broken Hearts" Written by Kayci Ryanne Summers
Broken Hearts
Have you ever felt like you were tired of looking? I wanted to be married right out of high school and star a family soon after. I wanted a fairlytale story that I never got. I thought these things would make me happy. Then I learned my happiness doesn't depend on anyone but myself. We have to learn to love ourselves because if we don't love ourselves then how can we expect anyone else to?
Think about it.

"MORNING MARKET" Written by Cecil Smead
MORNING MARKET
The red birds singing
On the warm electric wires
Above the morning market.
Old women lining up guitars
And ancient paintings of
Wheelbarrows and presidents.
Quiet Navahos with razor gift sets and heavy grey blankets.
Sodium-arc lights catching
The pre-dawn fever and clicking off.
Bugs buzz to life
While flowers wilt and sink
Into the imported
Cranberry-colored soil.
The rolling hulks of Americana
Crunching the sharp gravel.
These morning noises
Like miniature death roses
Cause the redbirds to take flight
Taken from my 2008 book CONFESSIONS OF A CONCRETE CUTOUT.
