Tears Of An Orphan

My parents were abusive so I killed them in their sleep, 
I was never blamed so it was my secret to keep. 
I went from foster home to next in search of a family I was told, 
I never cared to be adopted and hoped for only more fun and to be out of the cold. 
My parents were the first but there's been so many more once I felt the rush, 
it's a feeling of such power to take on such a role, yeah I had parents but I never had a soul.
