This poem gets my dogs barkin'
Haulin' all these words outta my head
I channel Hamlet and harken
Dylan says do not go gently dead
Longfellow's ride is much to Revere
Knowledge is a dangerous thing
Addam's Vogon is simply to severe
See, now I've forgotton what to bring

A poem for those poets who chime in
To participate in perfection practice
And make word mastery begin
